BACKGROUND
Max is a Co-Founder and Operating Partner at Paws Up Capital. Prior to forming Paws Up, Max worked in the Healthcare Investment Banking Group at Jefferies LLC in New York, where he focused on M&A and leveraged finance transactions and specialized in roll-ups in the veterinary, dental, and surgery center verticals. While mainly focused on deal structuring, site selection and business development, Max is actively involved in the day-to-day operations of the business.

When not working, Max enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active, cooking, reading and exploring the outdoors.

BACKGROUND
Tyler is a Co-Founder and Operating Partner at Paws Up Capital. Prior to forming Paws Up, Tyler worked in consumer and retail investment banking at Goldman Sachs in New York, where he focused on M&A transactions; he covered companies in the quick service restaurant space, the health and fitness franchise sector, and the consumer product vertical.
While primarily focusing on financing, acquisition, and de novo development, Tyler is actively involved with the grind of running a dog daycare and boarding operation.
INTERESTS
Tyler balances his time between his hometown of New York City and the SE submarkets in-which Paws Up operates. Tyler can be found running with his dog Olive. If you can’t find Tyler on a video call in front of his laptop, it’s likely he is reading, playing tennis, or outside near an ocean or mountain with family and friends.

BACKGROUND
Olive is a half Weimaraner half Vizsla born in rural Georgia. Her primary responsibilities at Paws Up include running, fetching, jumping on visitors, and chasing tennis balls.
INTERESTS
When not chasing tennis balls, Olive loves cuddling and leaning against her human friends. She loves the beach and hiking. In her spare time, she works as a ball-girl to help retrieve and supply balls for tennis players in matches.

BACKGROUND
Monty is a lab mix born in northern Georgia. At the Company, Monty manages catching flies and chasing deer.
INTERESTS
When he is not warding off critters, Monty spends his time sprinting around dog parks typically in a state of zoomies. Sometimes Monty also spends his time yawning.
EDUCATION
Major in Anthropawlogy, minor in Barkitecture. Graduated cum laude from Dogwood University.
